Yellowstone National ParkIn 2018, I went camping in Yellowstone with my whole family, even the ones from Germany. Despite the frigid nights, the eye catching experiences were worth it. I loved to look at the wildlife and see how the environment flourished throughout the park. The views were truly breathtaking. I learned how to be open- minded and respectful about the environment around me. America should preserve more national parks, so other people have the same opportunity to see something so beautiful.

Hiking up Mount MonroeMy family and I went with my fathers lab to New Hampshire. In the morning of the hike, the temperature was 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hiking up Mount Monroe took a whole entire day. It was unbelievably cold and wind battered against my face, making it difficult for me to see. There was water rushing down the trail, and it made coming down the mountain miserable because I always had the fear of slipping or getting soaked. I wanted to give up multiple times, but I really had to push myself to make it up the mountain. It was all worth it because the views where truly breathtaking. Nature has a variety of different environments, and I am appreciative to have these environmental experiences. To keep these beautiful landscapes, it is important for young students to realize that everyone contributes to global warming. Young minds, like myself, have to be inspired to make the world a better place. I believe the best way of doing this is to let them experience these beautiful place for themselves, and this will hopefully allow them to realize what is at stake in our world. |
PhiladelphiaI went to Philadelphia after my Cape Cod trip got snowed out. In the pictures to the right, it shows how amazing the city looked as the sun went down. When I was walking around the city, I could feel all of its history around me. Philly is the home to the Liberty Bell and the Declaration of Independence. America started its self in this beautiful city, and it is obvious the citizens of Philly take pride in its history. When I walked into the Philly Market, I was completely overwhelmed. There was so much food and I had no idea what I wanted. It was interesting to see so many different cultures collide into the meting pot of food. I love trying foods from another culture because I feel that it allows me to make connects with the people around me. Overall Philly was an amazing experience and I recommend going if anyone is interested.
